At Bamboo Lodge in Knysna, we believe breakfast isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. Surrounded by the sounds of birdsong and the lush greenery of our forest gardens, your morning here begins with nature, nourishment, and a whole lot of heart.

Breakfast is served daily between 8:00 and 10:00 AM in our beautiful, light-filled dining area — but we’re always happy to accommodate early risers or those needing a takeaway breakfast. Just give us 48 hours’ notice and we’ll make it happen, so you never miss the most important meal of the day.

Our breakfast dining area is more than just a place to eat. With large windows looking out over our bamboo groves, banana trees, and forest gardens, it’s a place to truly start your day with peace and beauty.
Guests are welcome to relax on the comfy couch, catch up on the news or a sports match on our big-screen TV, or even grab one of our board games for some family fun, rainy-day bonding, or travel-friendly entertainment.
Got a favourite sports match you’d like to watch while you eat? Just ask — we’re happy to play it on the screen for you when possible.

We also have a mini-stocked bar in the dining area with a variety of cool drinks available for purchase. Our liquor license is in progress, so stay tuned for an expanded selection soon!
